The lowdown

Pilates is about movement quality, understanding how your body moves, building control, and restoring balance. It helps reduce pain, improve posture, and reconnect you to how you feel in your body. Whether you train on the mat, Reformer, or both, each offers a different way in, tailored to what your body needs.

Group Reformer Pilates class using Reformers to build strength, control, and injury prevention with stabilising muscles.

Reformer Pilates

Using the Reformer bed, this method builds strength, mobility, and control, especially through the smaller stabilising muscles. It’s an ideal approach for injury prevention, post-rehab work, and performance-focused training alike.

  • For anyone who wants personalised support, smart structure, and focused attention. Whether you're starting out, getting back into training, working around an injury, or aiming to break through a plateau this is a top-tier, hands-on service for individuals or pairs who want a fully tailored approach.

  • Every session is tailored to your needs and ability. We’ll use the Reformer’s resistance to challenge and support your body through a controlled range of motion. It’s technical, precise, and highly effective.

  • You’ll feel supported but challenged, and start to notice greater stability, better posture, and improved balance over time. This is form-focused work that truly delivers.

“Mat Pilates practice with simple props focusing on strength, control, mobility, and body awareness.

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates offers a stripped-back, equipment-light way to build strength, control, and body awareness. With just your body, a mat, and a few simple props, it delivers deep benefits through simplicity. It’s a flexible and accessible practice that helps improve coordination, mobility, and posture wherever you’re starting from.

  • Mat Pilates is ideal for anyone who wants to move better with minimal equipment. It suits those returning to movement, building body awareness, or looking for a consistent practice to complement other training. Whether you're a beginner or experienced mover, this is a foundation-focused approach with room to progress.

  • Expect thoughtful sessions that teach you to move with intention. Without machines or springs, the challenge comes from precision and control. We'll focus on building strength and mobility from the inside out, helping you understand how to engage your whole body as one integrated system.

  • You’ll feel grounded, focused, and more connected to your body. Over time, you’ll gain confidence in how you move and carry that awareness into everyday life or other training. This is quiet, effective work that leaves a lasting impact.

  • If you prefer privacy or convenience, I offer mat-based sessions in your own space. Each one is shaped around how you feel and what your body needs that day.

Flexible Pilates training formats including 1-to-1 Reformer Pilates, small group Mat Pilates, and online Pilates coaching programmes.

Choose how to train:

  • A personalised experience built entirely around your body and goals. Whether at home or in the studio, these sessions give you focused attention, precision cueing, and maximum flexibility in pace and progression.
